What You Should Know about the Bucket Elevator When Installing

Bucket elevator is a new equipment which is used for lifting materials vertically.So it can be widely used in mining,cement,power plant,metallurgy,chemical,etc..But how to install the bucket elevator safely,the notices are as follows:

1.Pay attention to the casing installation of the bucket elevator

When installing the bucket elevator,you should install the lower parts and fixed anchor bolt first,and then install the middle casing and upper casing.During the installation,high altitude bucket elevator in which part of the machine and the appropriate position of the upper casing should together with its neighboring buildings in order to increase its stability.After installing the casing successfully,you should adjust the perpendicularity correctly.

2.Pay attention to the chain and hopper installation of the bucket elevator

Hopper is connected with U screw,which is chain joint and fixed part of a hopper.The nuts of the U screw must be tightened and reliable locking.After installing,you should adjust them with a proper tension.

3.Adding appropriate amount of oil 

Reducer should use the industrial gear oil lubrication.
Within the bearing seat should use the sodium calcium base or butter.

The Solution to Solve Blockage of Bucket Elevator

If there is blockage, please stop feeding material immediately, if serious ,please stop the machine and check the cause of blockage. Please use a shovel or special tools to clear up the blocked materials instead of hands.

1.If blockage is caused by big lump material entering into the base , please stop machine ,remove big lump materials and plugging materials.
2.If blockage is caused by insufficient tension of bucket belt, please adjust the tension after removing plugging materials. 
3.If blockage is caused by large feed flow rate which exceeds the bucket elevator capacity, please adjust the control valve or use other methods to control the flow rate after removing plugging materials .
4.If blockage is caused by feed before start-up, please remove plugging materials, start up the bucket elevator again and operate in strict accordance with the rules. You can only feed the materials after non-load running is normal.  

The Reasons for Bucket Elevator Head and Tail Wheel Wears Seriously

1.Serious wear problem is caused by the lack of lubricating oil in head to tail wheel, lubricating oil is used to reduce the effect of friction between the components, the working load of bucket elevator is focused on the two wheels, if lacks of lubricating oil, the friction will become greater, the hole that connect sprocket and main axis will be worn seriously, the head wheel and tail wheel will work in unstable condition, the lifted material will also fall down, so the head wheel and tail wheel must be well lubricated.

2. Material particles that conveyed by the bucket elevator is relatively large, the hardness is relatively higher, there will be few materials falling off from equipment during operation, since the sprocket is bigger, the material is very easy to hit the head wheel and tail wheel, after a long period of time the wheels will be deformed, so the material size of conveying material must match with selected bucket elevator. 

3. Unsuitable construction material selection of tail wheel and head wheel, processing quality is not qualified, it is sure to have some troubles when use it, in addition, the strength for head wheel and tail wheel of the bucket elevator to bear is very large, low quality will surely has serious wear and tear with faster rate, so we must accurately calculate the pressure of sprockets to bear when the choosing head wheel and tail wheel and select appropriate metal material for processing technology to produce durable sprockets.
