The Solution to Solve Blockage of Bucket Elevator

If there is blockage, please stop feeding material immediately, if serious ,please stop the machine and check the cause of blockage. Please use a shovel or special tools to clear up the blocked materials instead of hands.

1.If blockage is caused by big lump material entering into the base , please stop machine ,remove big lump materials and plugging materials.
2.If blockage is caused by insufficient tension of bucket belt, please adjust the tension after removing plugging materials. 
3.If blockage is caused by large feed flow rate which exceeds the bucket elevator capacity, please adjust the control valve or use other methods to control the flow rate after removing plugging materials .
4.If blockage is caused by feed before start-up, please remove plugging materials, start up the bucket elevator again and operate in strict accordance with the rules. You can only feed the materials after non-load running is normal.

      THG bucket elevator adopts high strength link chain as the traction component , draw our type feeding material , centrifugal or hybrid discharge material . Material temperature is less than 250℃. Max. lifting height 75m , Capacity is approx.1800m3/h. 

       Hopper scoops up materials from the stone bucket below, then is lifted to the top with the conveyor belt or chain, and next it is downward rolled over bypass the wheel on the top and the materials are dumped into the accept slot now by bucket chain or hoist conveyor, and the whole process is over. The driving band of bucket elevator with driver is commonly made of rubber, and it is installed below or above the drive roller and the divert roller. The chain-drive bucket elevator is generally equipped with two parallel transmission chain, on which above or below is a drive sprocket and a divert sprocket. Continuous Chain or Belt Bucket Elevator for Cement are generally equipped with chassis to prevent the dust flying into the bucket elevator.

Belt Bucket Elevator Transport Shape Matherial for Glass

Belt bucket elevator is designed for transporting vertically for granular, powder and small block of grinding suction smaller disperses the shape material. It adopts belt as the traction component , can reach to max.40 meters . Capacity could be approx. 4~238m3/h .

The bucket is filled with material and is conveyed to the head terminal, and then the material is thrown from the outlet under the action of centrifugal force according to the parabolic design. The driving device drives pulley to operate the bucket belt in circular motion from bottom to up. After discharging, the empty bucket is back to the boot by conveying and be filled again, and then lifted up to do parabolic motion such repeated cycle. The material is lifted from bottom to the top to the specified height to reach conveying vertically.

The vertical belt bucket elevator is widely used in mining , metallurgy , chemicals , power plant , agriculture and quarry etc industries for handling products such as cement, raw meal, alumina, coke, foundry sand, wood chips and other materials.

A general belt bucket elevatorinspection every six months, mainly on the hopper and belt tightening bolt joints check processing, tightening or replacing bolts. Each belt test once a year to confirm the age of the plastic surface of the belt and the belt strength. Adjust the level of the cylinder head and tail roller to correct the belt deviation. If the deviation is caused by drum plastic surface wear, re-roll the car hanging plastic and rubber surfaces. The rear bearing need to regularly check. Generally, after a long time usage, it will cause wear on slip ring seal. This can cause the bearing oil drip and caused bearing damage. Generally, a good slip ring seal can be used for many years.

The type selection principle of bucket elevator

 The key to select the type of bucket elevator properly is that whether we can exert its service efficiency to meet the production requirements and improve production efficiency. The following aspects are how to select the type of bucket elevator.

1. Initial parameters 

Material name; Material characteristics, it includes particle size (mm), bulk density ρ(t/m3),temperature, wetness, viscosity, ect.; The actual conveying capacity Q(m3/h); Need to lifting height H(m).

2. Hopper patterns 

According to the wetness and viscosity of material, we select different Hopper patterns. Anterior wall of shallow hopper has large slant angle and small depth,so this kind of hopper is suitable for conveying wet and poor flowing property material. The anterior wall of deep hopper has small angle and large depth, sothis kind of hopper is suitable for conveying dry and good flowing property material. For the hopper with guide edge, it is suitable for conveying heavy andabrasive material.

3. Traction component types

According to lifting height and tempreture of material, we select different bucket elevator. The advantages of belt bucket elevator are low cost, operating smoothly, lower noise, ect.. Therefore, it is widely used in many industries. But its lifting height isn’t so high. On the contrary the plate chain bucket elevator hasa high lifting height, and it can lifting large lump and high tempreture material.

4. Method of  installation

According to technological requirements, we select different bucket elevator. It must add devices to support traction components when the traction componentsof inclined bucket elevator have large cable sag. So in general, we adopt rectilinear bucket elevator. When rectilinear bucket elevator can’t meet the special technological requirements, we adopt inclined bucket elevator.
